Beauty Tips! (extract from dawn's blog)

Plucking your eyebrows in pain?
Try icing your brows 10 seconds prior to plucking to numb the skin.

AHH! Dark circles are such a pain in the ass.
1. Get enough sleep. Try to go to bed a little earlier than you normally would.
2. Cucumber slices have a soothing effect on the eyes.
3. Use sunscreen every day and moisturize in the night preferably using a good under eye cream.
4. Drink plenty of water to hydrate the skin.
5. Apply cold compresses.
6. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Iron deficiency can be a cause for dark circles around the eyes.

Broken Blood Vessels on Your Face?
Before bed wash your face and moisturize, then take a green grape, cut it in half and massage the open ended juice onto the problem area. Repeat this several times in 2 weeks and see the difference!!

Want to know the foundation of Youth?
Wear Sunscreen! Wearing sunscreen daily will help skin moisturized, looking youthful and can help prevent certain types of cancer. Avoid prime sun exposure during 10:00-3:00pm to prevent burns and intense UV rays.

Take it off!
Don't forget to remove your make-up before jumping into bed! Otherwise, you can wake up breaking out! Yikes!

Feeling a pimple coming along?
Wrap an ice cube in a thick cloth and hold it on the suspected spot, hold in on and off for 15-20 mins!

Your pores are big and you want them to shrink!
Every morning, when you are ready to apply make-up, rub an ice cube all over your face then clean and dry your face. Your face should now look and feel tighter, then when you apply your foundation, it will look smoother.

Clean it!
Keep your make-up brushes clean and bacteria-free by washing at least once every week. Wash with your favourite face wash or make-up remover for best results!

Go Green, green tea that is.
Green tea has long been known as a powerful antiaging skincare ingredient that can help firm or depuff the skin, along with being a great antioxidant. Green tea helps make fine lines and wrinkles look smaller, so drink a cup a day and feel/see the difference!!

Keep it low!
When blow drying your hair, try to keep it on a low setting so you won’t damage your hair!!

Hair.
Shampoo less frequently- 3 times a week, unless your hair is oily. Avoid the high setting on your blow dryer, and whenever possible let your hair dry naturally!
